Esther and Ruthy

I would post some of the pictures of Esther and Ruthy, but Mom put them on the family blog. You can look at them on there. (I'm just being lazy, I guess ;) Mom came up with a really cute story to go along with some of the pictures.
(You can just go down to 'the photo corners' on the sidebar, and click on my family's blog to see the most recent Esther and Ruthy photos)

Better Snow Dogs

I was glad I was able to get out and take some more pictures of the dogs these past few days. It gives them a chance to run around a little more, and they also get to learn how to 'stay' for Mama when they could be playing tag.
My favorite one of the three of them together.

Max showed up, and so I got a chance to take a couple of 'action' shots. : )

Saying hi

After a few minutes of smothering Max, Banjo treed him.

A backdrop of an icy forest.

This 'family' shot was good too. It is a close tie between the sunset one or this one.

I thought the night look was kind of cool, and the glowing eyes (though usually a bad thing) gave it more effect.-or so I thought.

This would have been a pretty good picture, if not for Banjo's set of antlers. ; ) He looks like a reindeer.

A far off look

My teddy bear Banj. I had just given him a bath, and since it was so cold outside, he spent a few hours in my room. He enjoyed the soft sofa, as well as the extra attention. : )

Icy Mornings

Ok, I don't know if any of you noticed the frozen fog on the trees this morning, but as soon as I saw it, I knew some pictures had to be taken immediately.
So here they are.

The chain link fence.

A blessing in disguise?

These ducks were all standing around a little hole in the middle of the pond. I liked the reflections. : )

I was surprised I actually got this one. :()

More reflections

Half shadows.

cucumber leaves

I thought this one almost looked like a giant snow flake that was resting on a frozen branch.

The background really should not have been black, but something was weird with the lighting, and so...Walla...a neat picture.

The van window.

Notice Dixie to the left?

Snow Dogs

I finally figured out a way to keep them from getting tangled up...

...after a few times of untangling Emmi. She just wouldn't stay put.

Ready to go.
Dixie is definitely our 'lead' dog. She pulls with all her might every time.-FUN!!

I love this picture of Emmi. : )

This is a good one of Banj, too.

It looks like Banjo's ears stick up. :()

This picture was just all together fun. :-)

And there we have it...Snow Dogs. (although I really want to go out and take some more soon. :)

Painting Day at Dan and Rebecca's

Esther was full of many different thoughts during the coarse of the day.
"Are you supposed to be painting that wall?"

"You mean you're gonna paint it white?!"
" Uh...Someone spilled paint on the carpet."
"It doesn't look like it will come up, does it?"
"Oh well."
Goofing off with friends.
'Closed-eye' shot with Uncle Sam.
More goofing off
"We're not goofing off!"

"We're just having fun!"

Sara's pirate. ; )

What can I say. : )

I don't think Mr. Flora knew all that blue tape was stuck on his back.
Hearts...

...and more hearts.

Ooops. : l Nice one Anna.
Actually, you can hardly see the spot now.
Krista and her BIG brush.
I got to paint with that brush last Saturday, and it is a REALLY nice brush. It's real perdy too.
