Ethan and Jonathan

The other day Rachel came by our house with the boys...needless to say, I got some pictures. ; )
Ethan has some pretty funny expressions sometimes.

And then there's Jonathan, who is such a cute/happy little guy. : )

More Spring Beauty

Dandelion seed leaving its mother plant.

I don't know what this flower/bush is called, but it sure is beautiful.

I agree with Sara...I never really noticed, until this year, how beautiful spring actually is with all its new life and green beauty.

Dogs and Flowers

I just love it when everything turns green again. It makes for nice pictures anyways...
Emmi is turning out nicely.

...and Banjo is too. ; )
I love you too, Banj.

...but I love Emmi, too.

...and my 'rebellious' girl, Dixie.

I didn't realize how much fur Banjo actually had until I looked at this picture...my reaction was, "Whoa, Banj!"

Emmi's paw.

We went out to Dan and Rebecca's recently and got to see all the new flowers and plants coming up. It really adds to the beauty of their farm.

Close-ups are so fun.

A little too fun, in fact. ; )

I can get a little carried away with them sometimes.

This next picture Sarah said looks like a sword. I think it is a perfect cross, but whatever you decide it looks like, it really means a lot to me.
The reason it means so much to me is because, on one of the hardest nights of my spiritual life, I went out back to let out some anger and tears. As I sat on the ground, confused, angry, frustrated, and feeling alone, right at my feet, perfect and very clear in it's form, I saw this cross...made of straw that was so perfectly lying on the hard, cold ground. It was a very windy night, and everywhere around me pieces of straw were blowing this way and that, but the form that had caught my eye did not move so much as an inch from it's place. As I stared at this figure I began to think about what the cross means (Christ's love and His suffering for us) I broke down into tears of sorrow and I decided to stop fighting the Lord's will for my life...which has been a life-long battle for me, at least.
The Lord works in mysterious ways sometimes, but He knows what will turn our hearts back to His, and I thank Him for His great love and mercy to me.
I'm so glad I took a picture of it. Every time I look at it now, I smile, and remember God's love for me. : )

The Beauty of Spring...and It's Weather

With spring comes rain, and with rain comes great photos.
I had a great time walking around looking for good shots, but I can't say that I got all too many.
I still had fun, though. :)
The storm wasn't that long, but it sure left a lot of water behind, and some pretty neat clouds... Don't ask me why I put this one on my blog, or why I even took it. It was just lying next to a tree that was surrounded by water, so I took a picture of it.
