I just love it when everything turns green again. It makes for nice pictures anyways...
...and Banjo is too. ; )
I love you too, Banj.
...but I love Emmi, too.
...and my 'rebellious' girl, Dixie.
I didn't realize how much fur Banjo actually had until I looked at this picture...my reaction was, "Whoa, Banj!"
Emmi's paw.
We went out to Dan and Rebecca's recently and got to see all the new flowers and plants coming up. It really adds to the beauty of their farm.
This next picture Sarah said looks like a sword. I think it is a perfect cross, but whatever you decide it looks like, it really means a lot to me.

The reason it means so much to me is because, on one of the hardest nights of my spiritual life, I went out back to let out some anger and tears. As I sat on the ground, confused, angry, frustrated, and feeling alone, right at my feet, perfect and very clear in it's form, I saw this cross...made of straw that was so perfectly lying on the hard, cold ground. It was a very windy night, and everywhere around me pieces of straw were blowing this way and that, but the form that had caught my eye did not move so much as an inch from it's place. As I stared at this figure I began to think about what the cross means (Christ's love and His suffering for us) I broke down into tears of sorrow and I decided to stop fighting the Lord's will for my life...which has been a life-long battle for me, at least.
The Lord works in mysterious ways sometimes, but He knows what will turn our hearts back to His, and I thank Him for His great love and mercy to me.
I'm so glad I took a picture of it. Every time I look at it now, I smile, and remember God's love for me. : )

ReplyDeleteI will be praying for your continued walk with the Lord. The way is hard, but it is sooooo rewarding in the long run.
ReplyDeleteI love all of your pictures. The first dandelion pic is really cool. It looks like you have an expensive DSL or something. The dogs look so nice in their nicely brushed fur coats. What kind of white tree blossoms are those.
That last post that was deleted was me. I was accidentally logged on to Anna's Google account.
This is Anna. : )
ReplyDeleteI will definitely be praying for you Hannah. I have had some struggles too, but every time, God pulls me out and sets me on the path again. I personally think that it looks like a shiny sword AND a perfect cross. It depends on how you look at it. In your situation, I would have seen it first as a cross, then as a sword. Both would mean a lot to me. The cross because...well, you said it. : ) The sword because it would remind me of the how God fights our battles and helps us when we are struck down by the devil. The "Sword of the Spirit" is always there when we need to pick it up and use it. Heb. 4:12; Eph. 6:17
Awesome pictures! I really like your dog pics. : )
I will be praying for you Hannah through your walk with the Lord. You guys are such an encouragement by sharing your trials. I can see that I'm not the only one with them. My you continue to seek His will.
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures.
